The award was presented to Toray’s Mike Brandmeier, President and CEO, by Christian Cowan, Polaris MEP Center Director, at the awards dinner held on March 30 at the WaterFire Arts Center in Providence. The PBN Manufacturing Awards are designed to identify and celebrate the region’s best manufacturers, large or small, focused or diversified. Toray was recognized for its excellence as a large manufacturer with 150 or more employees; the company employs 600 people at its North Kingstown campus.
