Plastixs, a supplier of equipment solutions for injection molding and material handling, has announced its new Xtreme HiTemp manifold assemblies for more efficient and safer injection molding.
Available in standard and custom configurations, Stainless Steel Xtreme HiTemp Water Manifold Assemblies distribute high-temperature molding process water at temperatures up to 450° F (230° C).
These compact, configurable assemblies can mount directly to a water unit or connect remotely using a high-temperature hose. Shutoff valves with locking handles are standard, and Plastixs also offers hoses with insulation sleeves to reduce heat loss.
- Operational temperatures of 320° F to 450° F for water
- Rated working pressure to 680 PSI
- Standard manifold assemblies featuring four to eight ports, depending on the model End and center inlet series available
- Parallel Pair configurations available for platen mounting
- Insulated PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) hose with stainless steel braid and orange or blue silicone insulation sleeve
- Insulated corrugated stainless steel hose with stainless steel braid and orange or blue silicone insulation sleeve
Custom Manifold Assemblies are also available, designed to meet a molder’s exact specifications, and delivered fully assembled for easy installation. These “plug and play” manifolds integrate seamlessly with existing molding systems.
“From medical and electronics to automotive, our HiTemp water manifold assemblies supply an end- to-end high-temperature solution for streamlined injection molding,” said Mickey Blyskal, General Manager of Plastixs. “Whatever your high- temperature challenge, Plastixs will collaborate with you to identify the ideal solution for maintaining employee safety and ensuring smooth operations.”
