Initiated in 1990, Leistritz Extrusion Twin Screw Workshops have since been attended by 5000+ industry representatives. What makes this program unique is that classroom sessions are reinforced by twin screw extrusion system demonstrations, screw assembly/disassembly and maintenance procedure demos. In addition to Leistritz staff, outside industry experts and academia always also contribute to the program.
The 2024 Leistritz Extrusion Twin Screw Workshop series schedule is as follows:
Event #1
This Plastics Twin Screw Workshop will focus on twin screw extrusion technologies for plastics formulations with an emphasis on compounding, devolatilization, reactive processing, foaming, pelletization and direct extrusion. Classroom sessions will be held at the Hyatt Hotel in Branchburg, NJ, and the twin screw extrusion demonstrations at the nearby Leistritz Extrusion Process Laboratory. The cost to attend is $880 if registered before Nov. 1st.

This Life Science Twin Screw Workshop will focus on twin screw extrusion technologies relating to compounding and the extrusion and fabrication of all types of multi-functional implantable devices and dosage forms. Classroom sessions will be at the Holiday Inn Express, Austin NW, Arboretum Area. Extrusion demonstrations and facility tours take place at the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy. The cost to attend is $880 if registered before Nov. 8th.
