Recycling Extruders

The Alpha series of recycling extruders is based around a revolutionary design dual diameter SST reprocessing screw. The geometry of the screw has been engineered to give high output and minimise process dwell time.

The Alpha is designed to accept material directly into the SST screw and is particularly suited to reprocessing continuous trim and off-spec reel scrap. Other forms of scrap material can also be reprocessed utilising the range of ancillary equipment available.

All machines in the Alpha range are fitted with Siemens Simatic touch screen HMI control system as standard.

With outputs ranging from 5 to 500 kg/hr, the choice of either air or water cooling, venting and combined with the comprehensive range of ancillary feed equipment enables the Alpha series to be configured to suit almost any application.

The Integra series of recycling extruders use an integral compacter cutter to cut and densify the scrap material coupled directly to the extruder SST screw. This combination gives the Integra significantly increased outputs compared to conventional feed methods.

The Siemens Simatic touch screen HMI control system is standard fitment on all machines in the Integra range and gives the machine the versatility where for example trims (continuous or cut), loose pieces/cutouts and reel-stock can be reprocessed simultaneously.

For applications such as bales, large pieces or lump, the Integra can be fitted with a Procut single shaft preshredder unit.

The Omega series of recycling extruders use an integral single shaft shredder that cuts and size reduces the scrap material before exiting into an innovative stepped hydraulic feeder unit to give a consistent feed into the extruder SST screw.

This combination enables the Omega system to reprocess applications such as in-line high speed/high output trim, reelstock, lump, thick, rigid or skeletal waste without the need for prior size reduction.

The Siemens Simatic touch screen HMI control system is standard fitment on all machines in the Omega range and gives the machine the versatility where multiple infeed systems can be reprocessed simultaneously.
